Week One

Course work Includes:

• Process Basics
• Iterative Process Mapping
• Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
• Measurement and Metrics
• Introduction to Statistical Software

PROJECT: Identify improvement opportunities while identifying and verifying baseline data.
Primary defect data is identified. Potential causes of defects are screened for effect and value.
RESULTS: Projects identified. Charters established. Project timelines and roles clarified. Critical to quality factors are identified and measured.

Week Two

Course work Includes:

• Survey Techniques
• Basic Statistics
• Hypothesis Testing
• Regression Analysis
• Multi-Vari Analysis
• Process Improvement Techniques
• Control Planning

PROJECT: Statistical analysis verifies process parameters that negatively impact current performance. Establish and implement improvements.
RESULTS: Focus of Improve phase identified. Monitor and control systems focused on continuous improvement.
